Good Morning,

NASDAQ Futures are up 6 with +7 Fair Value, Dow Futures are up 64 on this Thursday brimming with economic data. Futures were up sharply early this morning and took a downturn into the red after 3am but have since bounced back to green from the lows at 6:30am.

Asian markets ended mostly down today. China was the exception again, this time up 1.97%. Hong Kong dropped 0.59% and Japan lost 2.68%. European markets are down significantly. The UK is down 1.38%, Germany is down 2.13% and France is leading the decline with a drop of 2.29%.

Commodities are mostly down this morning. Oil is currently up 1.12%, natural gas is down 1.72% and gold is down 0.1%. Unleaded gas is up 2.05% and heating oil is down. Except copper, metals are down. Meat is mixed. Cocoa, coffee, cotton, corn, soybeans and wheat are all also down.

US jobless claims rise, however the labor market is still "healthy".

Boston "wins" GE global headquarters deal. "We won Powerball today here in Boston by having GE come here," Boston Mayor Marty Walsh said. GoPro (GPRO) shares fell 25% in after-hours trading after trading was halting and they announced they expected a revenue miss in the holiday quarter, but not of this magnitude, adding that it does not bode well for 2016.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSM) reported a beat in earnings this morning. This afternoon, look for earnings from microchip manufacturer Intel Corporation (INTC). Tomorrow morning is "financial earnings day" with BlackRock (BLK), Citigroup (C), PNC Financial Services Group (PNC), U.S. Bancorp (USB) and Wells Fargo (WFC) expected to report.

Transportation company CSX Corporation (CSX) is currently down nearly 2% in pre-market after announcing a beat on Q4 earnings yesterday but light revenue. Wholesale distributor SUPERVALU (SVU) is also down 2.5% after announcing quarterly results yesterday afternoon. This afternoon, look for earnings from CLARCOR (CLC), DragonWave (DRWI) and Volt Information Sciences (VISI). Tomorrow morning, First Republic Bank (FRC), Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSM) and WNS (WNS) are expected to report.

AAPL had a seriously rough Wednesday along with the broader market, swinging from over 101 back to under 98, winding up down 2.57% for the day. AAPL started off strong in pre-market flirting with 101 and opened up above 100 at 100.57 on strong volume. AAPL spent the rest of the morning chopping above 100 until shortly after 11am when AAPL spiked up above 101 to peak at 101.19 on high volume. By 11:45am and in light of the advancing stages a significant market selloff, AAPL struggled to hold 101 and began a long slide down back to Monday's prices. By mid-afternoon 2:44pm, AAPL was threatening to lose 98 on moderate volume. AAPL held 98 until the last 15 minutes of trading and then tumbled below 97.5. AAPL ended the intra-day session down 2.57 at 97.39. AAPL dropped an additional 9 cents to end up at 97.3.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened up slightly higher at 97.65 and drifted below 97 in conjunction with Futures, reaching a low point of 96.7 at 6:42am. Soon after, and in light of improving Futures, AAPL reclaimed 97 and began working back towards the upper-97 area on mixed volume. AAPL is currently up 42 cents at 97.81.
