Good Morning,

NASDAQ Futures are up 18 with +5 Fair Value, S&P Futures are up 8 with +2 Fair Value and Dow Futures are up 66 on this mid-month Thursday with a particularly action-packed economic calendar in the queue before next week's Fed meeting. Futures were mildly down in early morning and forged upwards over the morning, peaking just ahead of 7am and are near the highs as we approach the open.

Asian markets ended mixed. China is closed for Mid-autumn Festival, Hong Kong gained 0.63% and Japan dropped 1.26%. European markets are mixed. The UK is up 0.59%, Germany is down 0.02% and France is down 0.61%.

Commodities are mixed this morning. Oil is up 0.61%, natural gas is up 0.03% and gold is down 0.07%. Unleaded gas is up 1.59% and heating oil is up 1.16%. Metals are mixed, gold, silver and platinum are up while copper is down. Meat is mostly down. Coffee, cotton, corn wheat and soybeans are up while cocoa is down.

US retail sales decline by more than forecast in August. Applications for US jobless benefits rise less than forecast. US import prices post first drop in six months, but trend improving. Bank of England sticks with rate cut signal despite Brexit bounce.

NetSol Technologies Inc. (NTWK) reported profitable Q4 earnings up 24% year-over-year this morning and is up nearly 17% in pre-market.

This afternoon after the bell, look out for earnings from Oracle Corporation (ORCL).
Tomorrow morning before the open Advanced Drainage Systems Inc (WMS) is expected to report.

AAPL strongly tipped the scales in favor of green yesterday, ending up a whopping 3.54% on record volume. AAPL opened up at 108.60 to huge volume and catapulted up through 110 by 10am on monster volume and kept on going into lunchtime, peaking at 113.03 at 12:49pm on moderate but tapering volume. After setting an intra-day high, AAPL pulled back to the low-111 area on incredibly high volume before tipping above 112 again on heavy volume and ending the day up 3.82 at 111.77. AAPL gained 14 more cents in after-hours to 111.91.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL continued along with yesterday's close and took a brief low volume dip to 111.51 before launching up above 112 as Credit Suisse maintained an outperform rating, 150 price target and raised iPhone sales estimates. At the same time Apple announced that it had sold out of some iPhone 7 models. AAPL responded by firing up through 113 and sky-high towards 114, setting a pre-market high of exactly 114.00 at 9am before settling back into the upper-113 area. AAPL is currently up 1.88 cents at 113.65 as we approach the open.

Classic max-pain is 106.
