AAPL dropped sharply yesterday with our old friend 118 looking so far down the tracks but actually only ended down 0.16% on extremely heavy volume. AAPL opened down 109.88 to exceptionally high volume and popped above mid-110 within 2 minutes on gigantic volume only to sink to an intra-day low of 108.05 at 9:42am on yet more huge volume. AAPL bounced sharply and formed a basin (small intra-day cup and handle) from 10am to 11am on moderate volume that led to the upper-109 to 110 area on moderate volume. AAPL peaked at 111.32 at 3:20pm on moderate volume before slipping back towards mid-110 into the close. AAPL ended the day up down 18 at 110.88 and gained 9 cents in after-hours to 110.97.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened higher and quickly targeted 112 in conjunction with green Futures before slipping back to 111 and then below later in the morning. AAPL is currently down 11 cents at 110.77 as we approach the open.

Classic max-pain is 111.
