Welcome back. S&P Futures are up 1 with +3 Fair Value, NASDAQ Futures are up 5 with +5 Fair Value and Dow Futures are up 16 as we begin this holiday runway week with less than 2 weeks left until the close of 2016. The electoral college meets for a vote today and Tesla plans to charge a fee at its Supercharger stations for vehicle not moved within 5 minutes of becoming fully charged... from Musk the message is clear: get moving. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has scored the 2nd largest December opening in history and the second largest launch of the year, opening to a massive $155 million and $290.5 million globally. Meanwhile, Amazon is working on an UBER-like app that matches truck drivers with shippers.

The economic calendar is calm today with just PMI Services Index Flash this morning followed by a speech from Janet Yellen at 1:30pm.

Futures were up in early morning, peaking just before 1:30am and then slid down throughout the morning and are at the lows as we approach the open.

Asian markets ended down. China dropped 0.16%, Japan went down 0.05% and Hong Kong led the decline. down 1.03%. European markets are mixed. The UK is up 0.08%, Germany is up 0.03% and France is down 0.19%.

Commodities are mixed this morning. Oil is down 0.27%, natural gas is down 0.82% and gold is up 0.41%. Unleaded gas is up 0.22% and heating oil is down 0.30%. Metals are down except gold. Meats are up strong. Cocoa, coffee and wheat are up while cotton, corn and soybeans are down.

Tomorrow morning before the open, FactSet Research Systems Inc. (FDS), Navistar International Corporation (NAV), Carnival Corporation (CCL), General Mills, Inc. (GIS), BlackBerry Ltd. (BBRY), Darden Restaurants, Inc. (DRI) and CarMax Group (KMX) are expected to report.

A leading bearish CCL trade strategy is: When the 10 EMA is Above the 16 DEMA AND the 7 day Smoothed Stochastics is Bearish, daily bars.

AAPL had a strong week, ending up 1.77% on moderate volume. On Monday, AAPL had a cloudy day, dipping to mid-112 and ending down 0.57% on low volume. On Tuesday, AAPL showed a mountain of strength up at 116, ending up 1.67% on higher than average volume. On Wednesday, AAPL had a flat Fed day, ending flat in the low-115 area. On Thursday, AAPL had a strong day, skyrocketing up above mid-116 and ending up 0.55% on stronger than average volume. On OPEX Friday, AAPL ended up slightly, 0.13% on relatively high volume. AAPL opened up at 116.43 to high volume and quickly set an intra-day high of 116.50 at 9:34 on high volume before slipping through the morning on moderate volume to scrape an intra-day low of 115.65 at 11:32am. AAPL subsequently bounced back sharply above 116 on low volume and struggled to hold 116, slipping again to the upper-115 zone where it remained for most of the rest of the afternoon on low volume. AAPL made a move towards 116 in the last half hour into the close and ended the day up 15 cents at 115.97. AAPL dropped 5 cents in after-hours to 115.92.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened lower and dipped to a pre-market low of 115.60 at 6:38am before recovering towards 116 in conjunction with news of Apple appealing the EU tax ruling. AAPL is currently down 7 cents at 115.90 as we approach the open.
