Good Morning,

Welcome back. S&P Futures are up 2 with +1 Fair Value, NASDAQ Futures are up 6 with +6 Fair Value and Dow Futures are up 3 as we return our focus back to the markets on this Tuesday after the long holiday weekend. Notably. the Indian Sensex index notched up its biggest single-session rally in about 3 weeks, climbing 1.6%. Oil prices are steady before the first "OPEC and non-OPEC" output cut deal in 15 years goes into effect on January 1. Snap is reportedly buying augmented reality startup Cimagine Media for an estimated $30-$40M. Rogue One had a second straight win at the box office over the Christmas weekend, pushing Disney (DIS) past its record $7 billion in annual global ticket sales.

Today's economic calendar is wasting no time getting back to business with Case-Shiller Home Price Index, Richmond Fed Mfg., Consumer Confidence, Investor Confidence Index and Dallas Fed Manufacturing Survey, all reporting this morning.

Futures were down slightly in early morning and sunk to lows just before 6am, then popped up sharply into positive territory and are near the highs as we approach the open.

Asian markets ended mostly down. China went down 0.25%, Hong Kong dropped 0.28% and Japan went up 0.03%. European markets are up. The UK is closed, Germany is up 0.14% and France is up 0.14%.

Commodities are mixed this morning. Oil is down 0.11%, natural gas is up 1.36% and gold is up 0.66%. Unleaded gas is up 0.43% and heating oil is up 0.14%. Metals are up. Meats are down. Cocoa and coffee are up while cotton, corn, wheat and soybeans are down.

Home prices in 20 US cities increased 5.1% in October. Oil edges further above $55 ahead of supply cut deal.

AAPL had a cheerful week, ending up 0.47% on low volume. On Monday, AAPL came out of its shell and broke 117, ending up 58% on low volume. On Tuesday, AAPL had a bright day at the 117-line, ending up 0.27% on low volume. On Wednesday, AAPL made some artwork with splashes of green and red bars around 117, ultimately ending up 0.09% on very low volume. On Thursday, AAPL surfed the 116 wave, ending down 0.66% on low volume. On Friday, AAPL ended up 0.20% on ghostly volume. AAPL opened at 115.80 to relatively high volume and immediately set an intra-day low of 115.75 before turning green and pushing up into the mid-116 area on mild volume. AAPL subsequently dipped back towards 116 on low volume, touching 116 at 11:20am on low volume before bouncing back to green by lunchtime and pushing back to near the highs in early afternoon. AAPL held the mid-116 zone well in a narrow range in the afternoon before pushing up into the close and setting an intra-day high of 116.52 on moderate volume. AAPL ended the day up 23 cents at 116.52 and gained 3 cents in after-hours to 116.55.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL picked up with Friday's close and made a dash for 117 on news of most significant upgrade in years with 3 models of iPhone 8 from KGI before slipping back towards mid-116. AAPL is currently up 9 cents at 116.61 as we approach the open.
