Good Morning,

S&P Futures are down 5 with -5 Fair Value, NASDAQ Futures are down 13 with -13 Fair Value and Dow Futures are down 32 on this action-packed Thursday. The digital currency Bitcoin soared to its highest level in more than 3 years last week, topping $1,100 and nearing an all-time record, but prices dropped sharply below $1,000 after news of Chinese regulators performing "spot checks" on Chinese bitcoin exchanges.

Today's earnings calendar is in hyper-drive with Initial Jobless Claims, Import/Export Prices, Fed's Harker: Economic Outlook, Fed's Evans: Monetary Policy, Bloomberg Consumer Comfort Index and EIA Natural Gas Inventory this morning followed by Fed's Bullard: U.S. Monetary and Economic Policy, Treasury Budget, Fed Balance Sheet and Money Supply this afternoon and a speech by Janet Yellen this evening.

Futures were down in early morning and scraped bottom at 4am before bouncing back to pre-market highs but are still down as we approach the open.


Asian markets ended down. China dropped 0.56%, Hong Kong went down 0.46% and Japan led the decline, down 1.19%. European markets are mostly down. The UK is up 0.04%, Germany is down 0.53% and France is down 0.14%.

Commodities are mixed this morning. Oil is up 1.72%, natural gas is up 3.16% and gold is up 0.36%. Unleaded gas is up 1.74% and heating oil is up 1.89%. Metals are up. Meats are mixed. Cocoa, coffee, cotton and soybeans are up while corn and wheat are down.

KB Home (KBH) reported Q4 results yesterday afternoon with net income of 40 cents per share that beat expectations and is down nearly 0.5% in pre-market.

Delta Air Lines, Inc. (DAL) announced Q4 results this morning with better than expected revenue but lower net profit and is down over 1% in pre-market. Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Ltd. (TSM) announced Q4 results with net income of 61 cents and is down over 0.5%. Advanced Drainage Systems (WMS) reported Q2 results with adjusted earnings of 35 cents per share and is up nearly 0.5%.

Tomorrow morning before the open, JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM), Bank of America Corporation (BAC), BlackRock, Inc. (BLK), First Republic Bank (FRC), Wells Fargo & Co. (WFC) and First Horizon National Corporation (FHN) are expected to report.

AAPL branched upwards among an overcast sky, ending up 0.54% on low volume. AAPL opened at 118.70 to high volume and quickly popped to green on high volume before selling off over the morning on low volume and hitting an intra-day low of 118.60 at 1:17pm on low volume. AAPL sprouted back up later in the afternoon after 2pm on moderate to strong volume and made a intra-day high of 119.93 at 3:22 pm on moderate volume before settling back a bit into the close on moderate volume. AAPL ended the day up 64 cents at 119.75 and remained flat in after-hours to 119.75.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened lower in conjunction with Futures and scraped a pre-market low of 118.76 on Gartner and IDC publishing news of PC shipments in decline for 5th year before bouncing back towards 119 as reports of Apple taking entering the content business seriously. AAPL is currently down 75 cents at 119 as we approach the open.
