Good Morning,

S&P Futures are down 7 with -7 Fair Value, NASDAQ Futures are down 12 with -15 Fair Value and Dow Futures are down 62 on this Tuesday as earnings season heats up and the French presidential election race seems too close to call. Techwise, Netflix reported a slow in US and international subscriber growth for Q1. Though this metric was below expectations, profit was up due to lower than anticipated content costs. Bitcoin is now over 1220 after bouncing back sharply from 1,180 yesterday.

This morning's Economic Calendar includes: Housing Starts, Redbook Chain Store Sales, Fed's George speech and Industrial Production

The earnings winner is: GNC Holdings, Inc. (GNC), up nearly 18.5%. On the other hand, Harley-Davidson, Inc. (HOG) is down over 4.5%.

Futures were flat in early morning, briefly turned green and then slipped to red, scraping lows just before 6am then attempting to bounce back an hour later. Futures are off the lows as we approach the open.

Asian markets ended mostly down. China went down 0.79%, Hong Kong dropped 1.39% and Japan went up 0.35%. European markets are down sharply. Germany is down 0.63%, France is down 1.27% and the UK is leading the decline, down 1.84%.

Commodities are mostly down this morning. Oil is down 0.63%, natural gas is down 0.73% and gold is down 0.39%. Unleaded gas is down 0.94% and heating oil is down 0.64%. Metals are down except platinum. Meats are mostly up. Cocoa, coffee and wheat and are up while cotton, corn and soybeans are down.

Dollar hits nearly 3-week low as yields slide and sterling soars. Oil rebounds as Saudi export curbs offset rising US production.

Netflix, Inc. (NFLX) reported Q1 results yesterday afternoon with earnings that beat expectations and a subscriber miss and is up nearly 1% in pre-market. Barracuda Networks, Inc (CUDA) announced Q4 results with adjusted earnings of 19 cents per share that beat expectations and is down nearly 5.5%.

Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS) reported Q3 results this morning that missed expectations and is down over 3%. Bank of America Corporation (BAC) announced Q1 results that beat expectations and is up nearly 1.5%. Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) reported Q1 results with mixed results and is down over 1.5%. GNC Holdings, Inc. (GNC) announced Q1 results with adjusted earnings of 37 cents per share that beat expectations and is up nearly 18.5%. UnitedHealth Group Inc. (UNH) reported Q1 results with earnings of $2.37 per share that beat expectations and is up nearly 2.5%. Regions Financial Corporation (RF) announced Q1 results with earnings of 23 cents per share that beat expectations and is down 2%. Harley-Davidson, Inc. (HOG) reported Q1 results with earnings of $1.05 per share that beat expectations and is down over 4.5%. Omnicom Group Inc. (OMC) announced Q1 results with adjusted earnings of 97 cents per share that beat expectations and is down slightly.

This afternoon after the bell, look out for earnings from International Business Machines Corporation (IBM), Interactive Brokers Group, Inc. (IBKR) and Yahoo! Inc. (YHOO).

Tomorrow morning before the open, Tomtom NV (TMOAF), BlackRock, Inc. (BLK), Burberry Group Plc ADR (BURBY), TD Ameritrade Holding Corporation (AMTD), Abbott Laboratories (ABT), Textron Inc (TXT), U.S. Bancorp (USB) and Morgan Stanley (MS) are expected to report.

AAPL had a wild card of a day, ending up 0.53% on very low volume. AAPL opened up at 141.48 on high volume and dipped to an intra-day low of 140.87 at 10:40am on moderate volume before bouncing back to the mid-141 area in early afternoon on low volume. AAPL saw a small dip on low volume near 3pm and then bounced sharply to an intra-day high of 141.86 at 3:50pm on mild volume and then sold off slightly into the close on strong volume. AAPL ended the day up 75 cents at 141.80 and remained flat in after-hours at 141.80.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened higher and quickly slipped to a pre-market low of 141.3 at 6:25am before bouncing back to the mid-141 area as Credit Suisse maintained AAPL coverage with Outperform and a $170 target. AAPL is currently down 39 cents at 141.44 as we approach the open.
